Every Saturday is observed as Fun Day in the primary classes of Kendriya vidyalayas. These days are also known as Bagless Days. During these days, the primary children come to the school without School Bags. They are engaged in a completely different environment of learning. They learn life lessons through fun and frolic. They never feel even the slightest tinge of boredom as some of them may feel some times in the class room teaching on normal teaching days.
Activities have been chalked out beforehand and put into practice on these days. The children feel rejuvenated after the fun day and come to the school the next week with a lot of energy and enthusiasm to learn.
